The Veers welcome drummer extraordinaire Pat Brown to the group. Pat has played with a diverse cast of characters including Bob Scheider, Rory McLeod, comedian Bill Hicks, Carry Bowman, Max Evans and Chrysalis recording artists Year Zero. We’ve been busy working on new songs in the studio and might just play a show or two soon. Stay tuned…..

Good news! The Veers have just finished setting up their Travis Heights studio and are preparing to begin tracking their first full-length release.

“Following the success of our early EP, we thought it important to get in the right recording environment and put in the good work. No more drinking. No more women. We are doing it right this time.” commented, Richard Bade keyboardist and soothsayer.

In other news, the Veers will be coming off a two month gig hiatus with a string of shows around central Texas.

“Welcome to our new drummer Carl!” Now, with the line-up complete we are ready to do this thing. Carl Harkness is a Graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. with his degree in Professional Performance, and has more than a decade of experience playing and creating music. Being deeply involved in the music scene, Carl has played with such bands as ‘Ska-Hool’, Greely High School’s Honors Jazz Band, Honors Jazz Septet, Maine’s Legendary ‘Gods of Rock’, and ‘SoulPattern’ with the men of PeteandPaulmusic, ‘The Ben Folds Four’, a Rockin’ Ben Folds tribute band that have played with such stars like Gavin DeGraw, ‘Joe Turner & The Seven Levels’, Boston’s up and coming ‘Sing Treason’, the greatest power-pop trio since the invention of gravity ‘The Met’, and many others. He has also lent his services to several different studio sessions, producing some powerful and top-notch drum tracks.
